Do you feel stuck?
It happens and it’s completely normal. We all get stuck in our lives from time to time.
A big part of my job as a coach is to ask powerful questions to help my clients get clarity on what they want and what their next step should be.
“Ask the right questions and the answers will reveal themselves.” —Oprah Winfrey
Here are 3 steps you can take to help you get unstuck:
1. What do you want?
If you are not clear about what you want, you have less chance of actually achieving it.
Identify what area of your life you feel stuck in. Is it in your career, your health, in your relationships, your finances etc.?
Write down what you want in that specific area. Define what better looks like. Dare to dream big!
2. What has stopped you from getting what you want in the area that you’ve identified?
Sometimes, no matter what you do to create a change, something underneath it all can still hold you back. It’s completely normal to encounter feelings of fear and doubt when you’re going for your goals. These feelings can often reveal themselves in the form of an excuse.
One thing you can do is to simply become aware of them – to really notice how a certain doubt creeps up every time you consider taking the next step toward your goal. There’s a direct connection between what’s going on inside you and your outcomes. Once you start becoming aware of your patterns, you can work on them and release them.
3. What do you need to do?
If what you want seems to be too big or even impossible to achieve, break it down into smaller and more manageable steps.
Write down the first 3 steps and take them, one at a time.
Once you start to make positive movement forward, the feeling will change and the ‘stuckness’ will disappear.
